Goldenhill Primary Academy Ranked Among the Top Primary Schools Nationally and Regionally

Goldenhill Primary Academy has been ranked as one of the best schools in the West Midlands and nationally according to The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2026. 

The newly published league table ranks the school, based in Stoke-on-Trent, at 127th in the top 1,000 primary schools in England and among the top 10 primary schools in the West Midlands. 

The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2026 comprises the highest achieving primary and secondary schools in the state and independent sector in England. The guide was published online on 5th December 2025 and in print on 7th December 2025. 

Steven Martin, Headteacher, Goldenhill Primary Academy, which is part of The Societas Trust, said: “We are delighted that Goldenhill Primary Academy has been ranked 127th in the top 1,000 primary schools in England and 8th in the top 10 schools in the West Midlands. This achievement reflects the extraordinary dedication of our staff, the partnership with families and the hard work of our pupils.” 

He added: “Our focus remains on developing the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally, and preparing them for the next step in their education and in life. We emphasise curiosity, resilience and a positive attitude to learning, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and inspired to reach their potential. I am incredibly proud of our school community and grateful for the ongoing support that helps our children become confident, resilient learners ready for the future.”
