Great learning opportunities and outcomes for all is at the heart of the Societas Vision.
Our Vision is to create a sustainable, professional community where all learners are valued and encouraged to achieve their potential, and all individuals are respected.
Whilst our shared vision and values underpin the ethos in each academy, each one is also valued as an individual entity with its own unique identity – so at Societas:
- All academies work collaboratively, not competitively – there is no lead academy;
- Each academy retains its own senior leadership team;
- Each academy retains its own local governing board;
To ensure each academy has an equal voice in the work of the Trust as a whole, a unique governance structure has been developed where each academy has a seat on the Directors’ Board and on the Executive Board.
All five academies have appreciated the benefits of collaborative working over a number of years, albeit not all together in the first instance. We have come to further appreciate the possibilities of formalising the partnership we currently have and of the potential future benefits that our partnership will bring for all stakeholders.
